Hi all!
My family and I will be in Disneyland at the end of the month:cool1:!
I was trying to find a really great restaurant to eat at... but... I dont know which one! I am traveling with some picky eaters, so can anyone recommend a nice place to eat, with american type fare??

Any and all suggestions will be helpful! Thanks! :):flower3:

I love the Storytellers cafe in the Grand Californian Hotel. Good for everyone.

I'd suggest Carnation Cafe', on Main Street...it's classic comfort food (pot pies, meatloaf, baked potato soup, sandwiches, salads) & also a Disneyland classic (been there forever). It's also reasonably priced; a meal there costs about the same as a counter-service meal. :thumbsup2

I will put in for Cafe Orleans, gumbo was great Monte Cristo, Pomme Frittes(garlic fries to die for) & Beignets they also had a very tasty kids chicken dinner that our picky 7 year old loved and cleaned his plate....

I really enjoy the food at Redd Rocketts Pizza Port. You can easily eat for under $10 a person and get full on good tasting food.

There are tons of choices though. Mostly Disneyland offers something for everyone. You should decide what you want out of the meal. For instance, we go all the time and have eaten with all of the characters and most of the restaurants at one time or another. SO now, we just want a good meal for cheap most of the time.

If you decide on what you want out of the meal, you can narrow it down to a couple of places.

Character meals, cost, type of food, setting, etc.

My DM and I ate there last September. I'm a vegetarian and my DM is nearly one. The chef came out and made us both something very tasty that was vegan, sugar and gluten free. What's more, he seemed more than happy to do it. Very tasty and a nice setting. Obviously, though, this isn't in the park.

In the park -- and I daresay that posters are sick of hearing me say it -- I love Rancho del Zocalo. Excellent food and they're happy to make veggie options. I always look forward to my lunch there :-).

Have a great time!

Have you looked at the menus at allears.net? Here's the link: http://allears.net/dlr/din/menu/menus.htm#dl

That might give you an idea of what is offered at the different restaurants. If you see a place that sounds good you can post another thread about it to see if people like it or not.

If you want like actual meals then I'd go with Pizza Port. But if your looking for a snack I HIGHLY recommend the juice bar outside of the Tiki Room. The dole whip float is amazing!!!!!!!!!
