I just booked my daughter's first ever Disney World trip for March 2017. It's a special mama/daughter only trip and I am trying to get her to be able to meet the beast. I heard you can only do this during dinner at be our guest and unfortunately they are already all booked for the whole week we will be there :( (March 12-19)

Any tips of how I can make this work? Any chances of getting in with walk ups day of? Or are they only reservations?
Thanks so much for any help.

Subscribe to the reservation finder on Touring Plans. And keep renewing your search until you get one.

Oh, and have fast reflexes. ;)

Keep checking. It is possible to get a reservation and you have lots of time. There will be cancellations as people change their plans. Check every day. Good luck!

Even in the last seven days before your trip, there a great chance you will be able to get a reservation. All is not lost!

Just keep checking every day. These holidays are my second trip to the World, both planed only 50-70 days before. But as the last time, I recently was again able to find a dinner-slot to meet the beast due to cancellation, although before there was no availabilty.
Good luck.

I've cancelled dinner 5-6 times, mostly the week of. I gotten it a week out and 2 days out.

Check off and on varied hours, check around 60 day FP+ and 30 day FP+ for folks who now are changing their days and ADRs, check around the time packages must be paid off since folks who can't go will also cancel their ADRs ........ closer you get never stop trying, folks change and cancel all the time.

Also, sign up for Touring Plans (you can get an account for free) and use their reservation finder. It worked great for me and others have reported success too.

Yes! Do this and have it send you a text message when someone cancels so you can jump on it. The first time I used the dining finder I had it send me a email and I didn't realize until the reservation was already gone. The next time I set it up to text and I get the alert and booked it successfully right away.

Also, watch the March Cancellation thread on the Dining Forum where people will post when they are cancelling an ADR, and you can send them a PM to try and coordinate to grab it if one opens for your dates.

When I tried to score a BOG ADR... It was quite challenging but I got it, I checked several times a day, everyday....until I got it. Just be like Dory "just keep Checking"..

As others have posted, keep checking as people change/cancel plans all the time. Good luck!

Keep checking ever day- especially as your trip gets closer there will be cancellations- check several times a day since you have to be quick and be prepared to get disappointed once or twice before you find one!

Another important time to be diligently checking is 30 days out. That's when people who have booked packages must make their final payment by, so there might be cancellations around that time as well. Worst case scenario, you can always try for a walk up when you're there. Especially later in the evening when it's inclined to be less busy. Good luck!

It is certainly possible. I am leaving tomorrow for a trip and was finally able to book a BOG lunch yesterday for Friday. So its definitely still a possibility.

thank you all so much, I'm signed up on the touring plans and have the window open on my desktop at work and check periodically. Fingers crossed!!!
