We are making the trip june 25-july 3. i have heard some rumors that during that time of year it is too hot to do anything all morning and then it rains all afternoon/evening and you can't do anything. last year we went to florida in may and it was sunny and warm all day then had a brief rain storm in the early evening and that was it. we are a little worried that when we go the end of this month, the weather is going to be so bad we are going to be stuck in the room with two kids. any help?

If you've been during a humid period in May, you have seen some of the trends. The rain storms are usually one hour maximum, and pretty consistent as to time of day. Use that time to do something indoors, such as an attraction, shopping, etc. The walkways do get very wet (and some flood with standing water) but dry off quickly.

It will be hot and humid, but plan accordingly ie enjoy the morning and evening, and use the middle of the day to dine, sleep, swim, shower, etc before heading out again.

Try not to worry about something you have no control over.

Yes, it will be warm but I'm sure if you stayed home it would be warm also, but no where near as much fun as here! A/C is always just a few steps away from wherever you are.

Come on down and enjoy yourselves.  :cheer2: :cheer2:
Have a safe journey to Orlando and the best vacation ever.
