my DH got a call friday afternoon, he's got an interview with a travel company tomorrow morning at 9.30am, and has to do a powerpoint presentation to sell a holiday.
he's been up in glasgow visiting his dad (who's having the last of his radiotherapy sessions, so gary's been a bit preoccupied) and he's having trouble finding pricing for skiiing holidays on the net, a lot of places wont quote there and then, so i was wondering if any of my fellow dissers are skiiers and would be able to help with any of the pricing.

here's what he's got to do for the presentation:

Please prepare a powerpoint presentation to present to us as if we were the party
leader of a group looking to book a trip:
International School case study
A school from Dubai has contacted you and asked about a ski trip to Europe for 2011. The details you have are as follows:
Budget – £1200
Elements required
Return flight
Ski area with at least 100km of skiing
Package to include overseas transfer, 6x4 hours lessons, ski pass, ski hire.
Educational day trip
3* accommodation
How much would you allocate for the flight?
Which 3 resorts / properties in which countries would you recommend and why?
What educational day trip would you consider suitable / possible in the areas you are recommending?

has anyone got any insight as to which resorts have that length of ski runs for a start? also i havent got a clue how much lessons are.
DH is an experienced sales manager, but typically, they've picked something that we know nothing about, and its just really bad timing what with his dad and all.

thanks so much in advance for any help anyone can give

Sorry I don't have any advice on skiing holidays, but I just wanted to wish your hubby :wizard::wizard: Good Luck with his interview tomorrow :wizard::wizard:

first choice and inghams will quote you prices from the internet without needing to register and you can include lessons etc in your quote.

with 100km of area needed, I'd look at the major alps places such as val d'isere (300km apparently).

Not sure about the budget requirement though as there's no guide as to whether that's per person or for x people etc (I'd guess per person at that price).

I guess he'll also need to check somewhere like emirates for the flights as the school is based in dubai, which makes it a little trickier trying to use uk travel agents for prices as they tend to include flights...
