Can anyone help with Outlook Express?

I use Outlook Express religiously - maintaining about 6 different identities here at work and checking them several times an hour.

Everything was working fine when I left work last night but, when I came in this morning, I can't see any text within my emails.

The application opens as normal, and all my emails appear in my in-box and other folders, and I've been receiving incoming mail and even sent an email, but, when I try to view it right there in the in-box or double-click and open the email, there is no text in the body. This holds true both on unopened, unread emails, as well as all of my previously received/read emails.

Help - I'm like a fish out of water!!

That happened to me once and a cold reboot (shutting down the machine, not just rebooting) fixed it.

Have your security settings been altered to restrict the type of mail received?

Tools>Options>Security
Are you set for Internet Zone or Restricted?
Try switching and see if the body of the messages appear.

I had a problem a few weeks ago like that. We not only shut it down but unplugged the computer and it worked again.



That was after we called our provider and went through some steps to check it out.

Thanks guys - I tried all of your suggestions - nothing is working.

FYI - I even maintain a few identities that are on a different webserver (WebTV) than what we use here at work (Verizon), and none of them are working - so it "has" to be something to do with OE.
