I know that in WDW they have a place that you can get as much Mr Potatoe head stuff as you can fit in a "BOX" (?) for a set price. I was searching ideas for saving money and found a video someone made that said that in the POTC shop they have a skull you can fill for 19.95 as much as can fit with the head closing. I am wondering if this is true and what pother places have things like this? Is there a girly type of shop that can do this? I heard that there is a My little pony shop to that does it.
Any help I can get on this would be awesome. thanks in advance!

In the big toy store at downtown disney, they have the pot. head and pretty pony disney stuff (accessories). We have a potato head, so we saved room by only getting add ons, and no body. If you do get the body, stuff it full!

I second the not buying of the head. We got the head here and were very creative about stuffing items into the box. They do state now you need to be able to close the box.

We got our accessories in Toontown- they had a good selection.

We did both the last time we were in Disney. The CM were great about helping you figure out how to stuff that box full. It still had to close though. DD loved all her pony stuff and since she already had a bunch of ponies at home we got her ponies clothes and a popcorn machine thing that she loves!

About how much were those boxes of pony and potatoe stuff? I am trying to figure out a budget for my kids.
So I guess no one knows if the POTC still does the skulls?

POTC has the skull. It's not that big and the stuff you can fill it with is junk like coins, squishy eyeballs, bugs. Some other stores (I can't remember which ones) sell boxes that you can fill with fake jewels. I think the potato head parts are the better deal.

You can do the pirate skull at World of Disney at DTD Disney, also. The My Little Pony and Potato Head parts at DTD are at the toy store, which the name of escapes me at the moment. You can get the Potato Head parts at Mousegears at Epcot, too.

I want to say the boxes were $23.95, but I could be totally off. They are roughly the same size as the single box you'd get a Mr Potato Head in at Target, maybe a little bigger.

This is what I got on our last trip. The CM spent several minutes craming as much as physically posible in that box. It was $20 I recall...

If you get Mr. Potato Head parts, make sure you get some arms. The Disney add-ons only work with Disney arms. Our arms at home did not work, but the ones we got at DTD did work with all of the pieces.

we were there the 3rd of october...if memory serves me correct the mr potato head was 18 or 19.95 and the pony the other. since we had the two kids, and at 20 bucks for the small box times two we went with the big plastic mr potato head for 48.95 to fill. it was well worth it....but now the kids fight over him.....oy....
