Can anyone help me figure out what this actually means?

1) In order to post a new thread on the board without paying a fee, 50 non-Rent/Transfer board posts distributed evenly over the past 6 months as verified by the DIS search engine.

What actually counts as a non-Rent/Transfer post? Does this mean I have to create a topic or just actively participate on other threads?

Actively participate. You don’t have to create new threads.

You have to have actively participated in posting on either threads you created or responses in others threads.

We count all posts NOT on the R/T Board. Doesn't have to be a new thread.

Remember the distributed evenly provision, though. Over the last 6 months, we will look for at least 4 of those months to have at least 8 posts each, with an overall total for those 6 months of 50. And we count each month to the day, like DVC reservation windows..
