Can anyone help? I'm having trouble logging in/items loading

Hi

I wonder if anyone can help me, I'm having a lot of difficulty trying to log in. Even when I do sometimes eventually get on, nothing loads. Going to a different room takes forever, and even then the blue spinning never goes. I can't see clothes on anyone, and I can't view items in the shops (except maybe pins that aren't under Specials).

Everything was fine until last Friday, then I noticed that items were taking a very long time to load and I'd have to wait quite a while until I could see furniture etc.

After this, maybe one or two days later, I found that I couldn't log in and this is when it started getting really bad.

Does anyone know why this is happening? I've tried different browsers, and uninstalled and reinstalled Shockwave several times but it doesn't make any difference.

I was on a while ago, there was a lot of lag. That may be your problem.

I wish it was just lag, but I think there's definitely some problem somewhere as it's been like this constantly for a week.

I've managed to log in, after leaving it loading for about half an hour, then it's just taken about 10 minutes to enter a room and it's like this everytime I move rooms.

On my items, I can view Credits, Pins and Posters, but not Furnishings or Clothing. When I try to shop, I can hardly see any items, only Rooms and some items, but it won't load any of the others. I've left the game on for ages, went away and came back, and the blue spinning still didn't disappear.

Could be a long shot, but have you cleared your cookies lately?

I've been trying for over 2 hrs to log in and I keep getting your connection has been lost. Is the game down right now?

It has nothing to do with you. There are 2 other threads up about ppl not being able to sign in right now. It's vmk. Just in time for the quest too.

Yep, I clear cookies all the time, so it's not that.

When I logged in on Friday (after waiting 30 minutes or so), the usual blue spinning didn't go away, but after a while I could see one person's clothes, but everyone else was still spinning.

The same happened on Saturday, I could see one person fully loaded, and eventually I could see my hat, lol. I still can't change rooms, unless I wait 10 minutes every time.

Does this sound like a Shockwave problem? Anyone know?
