Can anyone help - Air France ?

Hi I was wondering if one of you could help me.
I have emailed and phoned air france and they don't seem to understand what I mean so I was hoping someone could please help me.
I was going to book a flight to CDG for next June for 2 adults and when I got to the booking page, it said 1 x luggage up to 23kg.
What I was wondering was does that mean it is only going to book/include one item of luggage and therefore I have to ring up and book another suitcase if we wanted one each or does it mean one is booked for each of us?
Has anyone booked with air france before and could anyone pleaqse tell me what it means?

It's 23kg per person booked ie on the passenger list, holding a ticket

So each of you can have a suitcase or bag weighing up to 23kg plus hand luggage

I think it just confused me because on nearly every other airline website, you either get to add your baggage or at the end, it says there are 2 items of luggage included so I think with it saying 1, it threw me lol
