Can anyone else not get into photobucket?

I see my welcome page, just like always! :confused3
 
It was giving me a hacked page when I went to photobucket.com

I was able to get in through the link to my album.

I am glad to see someone else had a problem, I was starting to think I was crazy.
 
My came up fine. I was even able to get in. all the pics appear on my website.

Have you signed in in the past couple of weeks? Did you change your password like the way Photobucket urged you to do on the Welcome page? I think they were hacked recently and wanted everyone to change their passwords. Your account might have been one of the ones that got hacked. :(
 

I posted about this in the Tech forum, where nobody saw it - I can't get in either, and nobody's pix are showing up for me - even the one in Imzadi's signature.

Yep I got the hacked page once, it said hacked by netdevilz.........then I got my pictures but the page looked really weird, then I got the normal page but some of the pictures weren't there.

I think I'll stay off tonight and hope they fix it.

My photobucket account got screwed up a while ago, everything was in really tiny print, and the pictures weren't mine. The whole thing only took up about an eighth of the screen, the rest was blank.

I just left it and checked about a week later, and it was all back to normal.

OK, I did that, and I still can't see anyone's pictures on my PC at work. On my Mac (Safari) at home everything is fine. Any other ideas?

Is it possible that your office/company loaded some new software that blocks certain sites?

Yep - little red Xs. That thought had occurred to me, but it seems to be too much of a coincidence that this all started yesterday at the exact time Photobucket got hacked (I found some news stories about it online).

Unfortunately, I'm not sure I want to go storming into my company's IT dept. and demand that I be able to access Photobucket! :( So I'm hoping there's a fix - some way to get the right DNS settings to access the site...

ETA: SOME pix are showing up - like my signature and the last 2 pix in Cantw8's siggie, but not the first pic...
 
yeah, I wouldn't go asking IT either!:rotfl:
 
OK, if anyone is still having problems, I finally heard back from Photobucket about the issue. Basically those of us who still can't see pix have to wait until our ISPs clear their caches - which could be 72 hours or more...:(

Photobucket says:

"On Tuesday afternoon, some users that typed in the Photobucket.com URL were temporarily redirected to an incorrect page due to an error in our DNS hosting services. The error was fixed within an hour of its discovery. It is important to note that only a portion of Photobucket users encountered the problem and that no Photobucket content, password information or other personal information was affected by the redirect.

If you still do not have access to Photobucket, please try rebooting your computer. If this does not resolve the issue, please try again later, as the redirect may still be cached in your ISP's DNS files. Depending on the ISP, it may take up to 72 hours (or longer) for their DNS cache to be cleared (orfor it to expire), so you should consider contacting them to see if anything can be expedited. Unfortunately, Photobucket can not do anything to help speed up the process. It is completely out of our control at this point.

Please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience that this may be causing you. We thank you for your patience, and appreciate your understanding.
