Can anyone comment on wegoshop.com?

Can anyone provide any information on the grocery delivery service wegoshop.com? Their website looks almost too good to be true. We are taking an extended family trip down in Jan to SSR and I am also going down for a quick weekend meeting in Dec to BWV. I would love to use this service. I know Disney will shop and stock your groceries for you, but their prices are atrocious. Wegoshop.com seems very reasonable....is there a catch?

If you do a search on this board, there have been several people who have used wegoshop in the past few months and have been very pleased with the service.

I know I am planning on using them for our December trip.

We used them in August and they were GREAT! I would highly recommend them. I faxed a very detailed list to them and everything arrived as requested right on time. I will use them again, without a doubt worth the fee.

They're lovely! The nicest people! Very prompt and helpful, they brought everything we asked for. They delivered to us in the lobby of BCV because our room wasn't ready yet. The lobby was stuffed to the gills with people, and they had to wait for us because we were lunching at Beaches and Cream (whoopsie!). But they were so pleasant and talkative. They took our groceries over to bell services for us. Just nice. Definitely worth the price. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

We used them in late May and had a great experience. She did substitute a few things because what we wanted was not available. I had checked the "OK to sub" box. My recommendation is that you do not allow substitution unless you're pretty laid back about what you get. Their idea of a similar substitution may not be the same as yours.

Eg. Diet Caffeine Free Pepsi for Diet Caffeine Free Dr. Pepper.

However, she did call me about a couple of items to make sure it was OK to sub. Ie. Keep your cell phone in hand if possible so she can contact you while she's shopping. Based on what she told me, she usually does the shopping within an hour or two before delivery.

My final rating would be excellent and I would definitely recommend their business based on my one experience with them.

Another happy customer here. We used them in May for our first trip with a baby. Lots of diapers, wipes, baby food, fruit, etc. They were wonderful! They're just as nice as the other posts say they are. It's a great service. We'll be using them again in December!

This is nice to know this stuff. I was planning on getting a rental for one day next Aug when I go with DGD, but now I think I'll just do this. Will save a lot of time plus the cost of the rental!

I submitted an order to them for our trip in August and I hadn't heard anything by the day before the trip, so I called and she answered her cell and told me they were in N.J. on vacation. I obviously wasn't able to use them. Just double check if you don't hear anything after you place your order. I will try again next trip.

For those of you who have used wegoshop, can you ask for a specific time to have your things delivered? I remember seeing that you pay for your groceries at the time of delivery so you have to be there, unlike netgrocer. But, it seems that I can get more of what I actually need from wegoshop. I just don't want to have to give up valuable park time to hang around waiting for a delivery. With netgrocer you pay at the time of the order and they just deliver it and bell services brings it to your room.

I have never heard of this service. And I too HATE to leave the resort after checking in and heading to a grocery store. I think we will try them in October! Thanks.

Yes, you set up a specific delivery time. We've used them several times and they've always been right on time for delivery.

What store do you guys have them shop at? Will they go to the Wal Mart Supercenter? Where is the best place to send them?We too were going to rent a car so we could do the grocery stop when we check into OKW. We will be doing 2 nights at ASMo first so we can't utilize a grocery stop through a towncar service, but this will be even better! Thanks!

We always have them go to the Wal-Mart Supercenter because we are familiar with what they carry and we have a good idea what to expect as far as prices go.

Excellent! Thanks Gem! My husband is addicted to Diet Dr. Thunder (Sam's Choice Diet Dr. Pepper) so it would be great if we could get it down there without aving to go wandering around Orlando looking for it!
