Can anyone call MS for me?

Ok I am like dying to switch my October 16-20 reservation from a studio 4 nights at SSR to BLT, VWL, BWV, or BVC. I don't mild split stay, but just want to stay somewhere DH hasn't stayed at before.
There is nothing what so ever anywhere for those days whenever I call.
I have called like every day for the past week, and I am kind of embarrassed to call again, can someone nice to enough to call for me, and check availablity? Please please please?

Oh I have requested to put my name on waitlist for VWL and BLT standard room. But from what I read on the posts from here, they don't run the match frequent enough and they don't do partial match (split stay). .... and yeap I'm impatient.

I called every day for 2 weeks trying to get a BWV studio for May 30 and 31st. It did not embarrass me in the least - as much as we pay in dues, someone at MS can check availability for me.

I don't see what the big deal is. You pay their salaries. If you feel the need to call every day, call every day. It's not like you're getting the exact same person every time. I don't think you need to sweet talk anyone - just be to the point, but nice.

i would change the BLT standard room for a lake view BLT room or else a preferred view BWV. IIRC, there are not a lot of BLT standard rooms, the other categories would probably give you better odds.

then i'd just try to forget it...i would think an oct waitlist has a good chance of coming through even without calling every day.

Waitlisting for BLT standard and VWL are both difficult catagories since they have limited numbers of rooms in the first place. I agree that you should waitlist for BLT lake view as your top choice, since you seem to want that most, and you will have a better chance than waiting for standard view.

I just called up around 4:00 every afternoon and asked to check availability for May 30th and 31st. I was trying to add those nights in a studio at BWV - we already had a BWV studio for June 1st-4th. We already had a BCV studio for those nights, but didn't want to have to move again during our trip - we already had 4 nights in a BCV 2 bedroom, then 4 more nights in a Kidani 2 bedroom, so only moving one more time to BWV was what we wanted. Every CM that I talked to was very nice and everyday, different resorts were available. We ended up waitlisting the nights and they came thru or I would still be calling every day at 4:00.

I second buy where you want to stay, but in this instance, that didn't work for us, as this wasn't a trip planned at 11 months, it was a trip planned at less than 2 months.

I agree. I put together a last minute trip also because I need to pick up our rental car by May 31st. We have alot planned this summer trip and it was cheaper for me to fly in a few days early to pick up the car because we need a 1 way rental. Plus now I get to spend Memorial Weekend at WDW!

In the last month, I was able to get a CL Studio at AKL for May 29 and a studio at BCV for May 30 by calling everyday. It works out this trip, because I will have the CL lounge to relax in or SAB and dont plan on being in the room unless the weather is bad. If I have to be indoors, I will have the CL Lounge to relax if my room is not ready until late.

I used to be embarrassed, but it is their system.

DVC ought to be embarrassed about making me have to spend my time calling to check availability because of their silly waitlist policy.

Simply not possible as some events are not announced beyond 4-6 months. I put myself on the GCV waitlist as soon as the D23 "Destination D" event for this Sept was announced. We do the best we can do ...

Thanks for all your encouragement, I called after work today and got the last night at VWL, thats a great start! Hopefully by October I will get all 4 nights there!!! I agree this is Disney's failure to make the wait list so unpractical. If I don't call there is no way to get all 4 night match at once all at the same time.

Did you call exactly at 7 months out, when they opened and still were not able to get anything?

naa, I had to change the travel date like 4 times for different reasons, hopefully this is the final firm date. I am not really good at planning 11 months ahead, I always started that way but always ended up changing it.
