Can anybody confirm or deny these rumours of Iraqi attrocities

My brother gets news updates on his cell and has been following CNN like crazy. But he also exagerates. He gave me the following info and I'm wondering what of it is true.
Iraqi's assasinating POW's on tv.
Iraqi's waving surrender flag, then shooting our military personel
Iraqi's dressing as civilians, then doing same.

Is any of this true?

I have heard the last 2 on CNN and Fox news today as the method of ambushing the allied troops.

Yes, actually the POW situation has not been entirely clear. I have heard this on the news, but it also seems some are alive. The news conference from Ft. Bliss(home of the POW's) was cancelled pending lack of info. One can only pray that report is not true.

If these are true, it completely changes the way we are handling the situation. We would no longer be able to be compassionate, or to tip-toe around trying not to hurt the innocent. The most important thing is to secure the area with as little loss of life among ours and our allies military personnel. Of course, it is sad that innocent civilians are getting in the way but the troops must come first.
Where are all of those countries who felt we should trust Hussein to come clean. Do they see these reports as well? Now I feel he will use any means necessary to take as many Americans down with him, including chemical weapons. Scary.

I am only checking the news on the net and listening to the radio so maybe I am missing something but could someone give me the details of the Iraqi's assinating our pows on tv? I hadn't heard that one yet.

They didn't assassinate the POWs on tv. Part of the video they showed on Al Jazeera showed that some of the POWs were dead and that they had been shot in the forehead, execution style. But it's just as horrible, even if they didn't show the action on tv.

I thought it meant they were executing the remainder of our POWs. I am praying we get our people out of there before that does happen.
