CAn any one please tell me what Columbus day weekend will be like

Hi all we are comming to Universal from Australia and arrive on the 6th October, I know this is Columbus day weekend and everyone says stay away from Disney it will be to busy. Does anyone know what Universal was like last year. We would really like to go to a park the day after we arrive but if it is going to be to crouded we wont. Thanks

i have been to universal the last 4 years on the columbus day weekend period.
this year i will be there on the 4th until after the weekend.

are you staying on site?
if you are, no problem. the parks do tend to get crowded around 3 as people start coming in for hhn.

the parks close early on the weekends for the hard ticket event.
