First, I am not trying to break any rules. I'm just curious if anyone has any experience with this as I know that CMs don't always give the correct information (before I call).

DD is seven and has been taking riding lessons for two years. I realize the age limit is nine, but do they allow for any fudging of this if the rider has experience? She is quite tall for her age, but I definitely don't want to try to break any rules. If she can't, then she can't and she'll just have to live with it. But, if it is something they'd allow, I know that she'd love a mother/daughter ride during our stay at the cabins in September.

I'd hate for someone to let me book it and then she gets her hopes up. Only to be told no.

There is no flexibility. The age is 9.

But, they don't ask for a birth certificate. They will take your word for it (within reason).

The only way to get around the rule would be to lie about the birth date. And, I have seen the castmembers ask the child about their age, in addition to asking the parent. So, unless you want to set that example for your child, and ask her to be an accomplice to boot, you will need to wait a couple of years.

Thank you!

Lying is a big no-no here, so that's not going to happen. ;)

(we went to wdw just after she turned three and never even thought to try to pass her off as still being two. so, not going to attempt to pass her off as nine, even though she looks it)
