Can a TS credit be used at a QS restaurant?

I am anticipating free dining during our stay. We would like a couple of TS restaurants, but not every day. Has anyone ever used a TS credit for a QS restaurant? Will they allow this?

The answer is yes you can downgrade table service credits to counter service. but you cant convert counter service to table service. After you have used up all your counter service credits then you can downgrade table service credits to counter service and its automatic, but they might ask if you want too.. hope that makes sense to you.

I'm facing this on my upcoming FD trip. I would never use a TS credit for a QS meal. I've reserved HDDR for two credits, and will have a dinner or two at signature restaurants to use up more TS credits if I have extra.

But then you will end up paying OOP for some meals somewhere. If OP uses some of their TS for QS, then they probably will not pay OOP for anything and truly experience FREE dining.

That's true...but I often have meals that the DDP doesn't cover, which is why I often don't opt for it. Probably at least one evening I'll have a couple appetizers in a lounge and that will be a meal. I also sometimes have a hearty snack at lunch time and don't want anything else. Plus I'll be there for F&W, and some meals will be there.

But I still wouldn't use a TS credit for a QS meal.
