Can a trip be postponed 1 year or just later in the same year?

Our trip is in 28 days and we are discussing postponing it until either October/November or Spring 09. It is paid for (7 days at Pop, 7 days park hopper w/ dining, P&P party tickets, no airline tix-we are driving).

What are my options? Can I move out to later this year without a penalty? Will there be a penalty if we move it to next year? I don't need the money back, just don't want to lose any of it.

You have a package so they may charge you to move your reservation. Your P&P tickets are non refundable. If you move to 2009 they will charge you rack rate and adjust your pricing once the 2009 rates are announced.

What is "rack rate"?

A non discounted rate. They will give you a price based on what they think the 2009 rate will be. Once the 2009 rates are announced they will adjust your reservation.

Thanks for the input, I think we'll go ahead and go. I don't want to have to pay another $500 (I'd loose the discount package we got).
