Can a room credit from one room be changed to another?

I booked 2 rooms last year while onboard. One room for my family and one room for my MIL. Each room was given a $200 shipboard credit. Since we are helping my MIL pay for the cruise, we are going to keep both $200 credits($400 total).

My question is what is the best way to do this? Will Disney transfer both credits to our room if we ask? Do we have my MIL pay us for any charges she makes?

Anyone else come across this problem?

Never saw this situation before....I would just list one CC card for charging (yours for both cabins) and give your MIL charging priviliges with the understanding that she would reimburse you for what she charged (if that is what you intend). I think that way the room credits would be applied to your account, not necessarily the cabins.

If you wanted to be reimbursed for any charges your MIL made you would have a print out of what she charged (as it lists charges per person) and could ask her for her share.

We have had two cabins before for our family and just one CC account that we all got charged to....I could see on a daily basis what my kids were spending by the printout from guest services.

Maybe another has a better solution....
