Did your peeps notice you were taking pics with them? That was too funny!
They probably would enjoy it if you asked them to be in your picture! With binder, they might think you are an official or something - you could have alot of fun arranging them in a group....Have one of them hold binder. can you tell I've been in Japan? Very nice people - love pics!

I know. They are very polite. They probably would've loved it. I chickened out.

So the luxury of living in the OC is being able to go to Disneyland pretty much anytime I want to. I used to have an AP, but wasn't going enough (crazy, I know) to make it worth my while. I think last year I used the money that usually goes to my AP towards my WDW vacation.

We locals can enjoy some of the Disney magic w/o having to pay park admission. We go to Downtown Disney. Parking is free for the first 3 hours and free for 5 hours w/ validation. We go often just to go to the ESPN Zone or to the movies.

Another benefit of living so close to a Disney resort? When DIS folks visit DL, I have to opportunity to meet them. When I went on the DCL a few years ago, I met some wonderful friends from the DIS. 4 or 5 couples got pretty tight and we have remained in contact. As they have made trips to DL I've had the chance to meet up w/ them.

Tonight I was able to meet up w/ JHalkias. He was out here for a conference and we had a beer--yes, just one beer. It was a 24 ounce beer, still just one.
I'm sorry to disappoint so many of you with my lack of game tonight, but I was driving and didn't want to hit any parked cars on the way home (been there, done that many, many irresponsible years ago...a long, long story as well, but no police involved and no hit and run involved--not that irresponsible)

So for any of you making a trip out to DL, I'd be happy to play tour guide. Offer some good local places to eat and to see. I've lived all over California so I can help you out.....

Dude, I would probably go more often if I could go during the week. It's just too crowded on the weekend. DTD, on the other hand, is an easy trip. Beer, sports, ESPN--match made in heaven.

Yep, it was his mom's idea. She asked about it months ago and he finally decided to tell her he didn't want to do DL! I counted on him keeping quiet so as not to hurt his mom's feelings.

Oh well! I'll get there someday!

Can I persuade your DH to take a trip to San Diego? Better rates during the off season unless you were going to go on the weekend. Still not too bad during the winter.

If you go to SD, you can drive up 2 hours and go to DL.........

I'm trying to help a Disney lovin sister out.
