Can a PTR be therapeutic?YUP!!Addictive?**2/14-I'm home...**

I can't remember too much about the last episode. It will come back to me when I start watching again. :thumbsup2 I do have a excuse for forgetting, I was eight months pregnant when they aired the season finalie. I had that pregnant memory (or lack of memory) thing.:rotfl:

It's okay. We'll talk after the season premiere.....I can't wait.

Another Lost addict checking in!!:cool1: I will have myself planted in front of the TV on the night of the 31st too! I can't wait!! I plan on watching the season finale again online in the next few days to remind myself of everything that's happened. I'm not sure who is in the casket. I'm not sure if it was just me or if the casket looked small(?) I've gone through the entire cast trying to figure out who's in there. Maybe it's Ben since no one is there.:confused3

It's been a little over 5 months since I started this little PTR and now it's almost time to go......I can't wait.

Wouldn't mind tacking on a 4-day DCL as well.....hmmmmm......

Now you're talkin' - I think a 4-day DCL is always in order :thumbsup2

Large.

Just a quick question...Who do you think was in the coffin?

I can't believe I just thought this, but... Walt. :sad2:

I tried to watch some of the missing scenes online and fell asleep, so I will have to try to watch the last season, or rent it - I have no memory anyway - then when they take so long to come back, I forget why I was watching it in the first place. Short attention span :dance3:

I have a confession, I have not seen one episode of Lost :sad2:. Have a great trip Jordan!!

:welcome: party:

I'm glad you took the time to read this labor of love....

I know the pressure is on......I've said it before, I'll try not to be too forced and let things just happen as they always do on vacations.....

Sounds good :thumbsup2 From seeng the pictures of your last trips it seems like good times follow you guys wherever you go so I'm sure you won't need to try to hard to come up with some crazy stories for all of us faithful readers ;)

And man, I should have jumped onto the Lost bandwagon! I've never seen it but it sounds good... I actually didn't think it was on anymore :confused3 :lmao:

Besides my trip to WDW, it's what I'm looking forward most in the next few weeks.

Anyhoo........back to the PTR.......

I kept getting lost trying to follow Lost. I gave up.

Do you know anything about a show called Boy Meets World?;)

Top Ten Things I'm looking forward to at WDW

Everyone has a mental list of things they are looking forward to doing while at WDW. I am just documenting mine here:

  1. A walk along Hourglass Lake at Pop late in the evening
  2. Rock N Rollercoaster
  3. Spending time w/ family and friends
  4. Sitting on the Boardwalk--people watching
  5. Spending quality time on a stool at the ESPN Club
  6. Making this trip memorable for Erin and Dylan
  7. Taking pictures. I'm Japanese. I can't help it.
  8. Doing the Backstage Magic Tour
  9. Laughing alot...
  10. Eating as much meat as I can possibly stuff in my mouth.

Of course, perhaps running to every DIS person would be nice too. I'll just look for the LSU shirts...:rolleyes1

Garden Grocer

Wendy and I compiled everyone's requests and she placed the order Monday evening....204 bucks.... and only 9.48 is stuff i requested..... I'm footing the tip though....This service will be nice as we are taking ME...

Never used it before....will it goes as planned? or will they mess it up? Place your bets, place your bets....

ADRs

Still no changes...but camelotcats is predicting at least one more change..

Will I change ADRs at least one more time before I leave? Stay tuned.

Lime Green Mickey Heads

I attached 2 to my Camera Case, but I'm thinking I won't be too hard to pick out in a crowd. I think you've all had my face burned into your memories by now....:rolleyes1

I laugh as I imagine you all looking closely at every Asian you pass when you're there. Look for large Asian tour groups...I can't be too far behind.;) :rotfl2:

Where's Waldo will turn into where's Jordan....Will you find me on your trip if you're there at the same time?

Weather

I check Accuweather.com because it has 15 day forecasts, but I like weather.com better for some reason even though they only forecast 10 days out. Looks like clear sailing ahead. Rain on a few days which I don't mind. I just don't want it to dip below 55 during the day....

Will the cold and rain wash out any of the days that I'm there? Will I be able to hit Typhoon Lagoon at least once?

ooohh Jordan, I may make a top ten list too!! Yeah, I can never come up with good ideas of my own...we'll see, our lives have just been changed today-my BIL passed away today. He was 50-we are feeling pretty wierd about it. Sad, shocked, suprised, sad, wierd, little emptiness...

He was by DH's big brother- we are a tight knit family, but were never super close to him-still he was his big brother. Just 2 weeks ago me and my s were househunting with him and wis wife-they are still in a camper ever since Katrina-somewhat thier choice, somewhat medical, but mostly NOT by choice. Me and him were jumping in and out of the van sneaking into newly built homes. They had thier grandchildren with them-they are my kids age and get along sooo well.

8 days as of midnight!! It is 1 am here!!

You know I know how you feel. Family is family. Close or not, hard not to feel the loss...will this affect your trip? I had to cut my trip short by 3 days to come home for my SILs memorial service. It's wierd, but I was able to enjoy my vacation even though my SIL had only passed away a few weeks before. It was so nice to escape for a week....it was truly a gift from God..

:grouphug:

I'll have to look at your plans again to see when our best chance to see each other will be...:thumbsup2

Taking pictures. I'm Japanese. I can't help it.

This made me laugh out loud and almost wake up the rest of the house.:rotfl2:

Garden Grocer is pretty cool. I placed my order about 2 weeks out last year, then added more items to it about 3 days before the trip and when they delivered, every single item was there. :thumbsup2 I'm hoping for the same outcome this time too.

Now remember, we won't be there while all the other Mardi Gras escapers are there. We will be there the week after. So, continue to keep an eye out for us too. DH will probably be carrying his LSU backpack.

What am I saying....we HAVE to meet. We must take pictures w/flat winkie! Let me know when you might have free time while I'm there.

Love your list - I thought you wrote, "spitting on Boardwalk" :lmao: It's late.
I'm sure you'll make wonderful memories for the kids.:grouphug:
We used Garden Grocer - it worked out great! The only thing - I underestimated the time it would take to get to our resort - the poor delivery guy was beside himself trying to make sure I was there - I tipped very well in advance, so I don't know why...:confused3

ADR changes - I think you should be the ADR general and just say NO!

Where's Jordan - :rotfl2:

Weather - I predict you will have :sunny: you all deserve it.

Good to know about Garden Grocer. I hadn't really researched whether people liked them. I just kept seeing people talk about how they used GG...

I didn't see a day-to-day itinerary on your PTR...here's a summary of where I'll be the 9-13th.

9th-MK til about 4pm. Dinner--CA Grill....for now.
10th-Lunch at PrimeTime the only thing scheduled
11th--Epcot or DHS
12th--Free day
13th--Free until about 3pm. Head to ME and back home:sad1:

Your Top 10 list is great, it all sounds so relaxing :thumbsup2
