Can a Magic Band be transferred to another person?

We have six magic bands right now for my family of three. Next trip we are staying off property and my mom and my aunt are going, too. I was wondering if I could give them two of our old magic bands to use for the trip. Anyone know?

Bummer. That's what I thought. Seems so dumb since I have all these bands already.

They can wear them just to wear them, to fit in, if it's important to them, but they are linked to YOUR account forever and can't be transferred to someone else. So they would still have to use their tickets.
