Can a guest staying at CS enjoy recreation/amenities in another Disney Resort?

This may be a stupid question...but what the heck! DH and I are from FL and have been to the WDW parks many times. We have decided to take a weekend and go explore a few different resorts and what they have to offer. (We will be staying at CS.) A few ideas for our weekend include visits to FW resort/campground/lodge, POR, and GF then return to CS in the evenings. I wanted to see if I could rent bikes and canoes at FW, swim/enjoy fireworks at GF, and take the boat to Downtown Disney from POR. Does anybody know if you can do this? Is there a "rule" prohibiting a Disney resort guest from enjoying another Disney resort's amenities/recreation?

You can enjoy just about everything a resort has to offer with the major exception being the pools. Pool hopping is not allowed and a touchy subject on these boards.

Everything except the use of the pool is allowed.

Each pool is reserved for the exclusive use of that resort's guests, the only guests allowed to use other pools are Disney Vacation Club members and there are restrictions to that.

Actually the asking about pool use is not the touchy subject, it is the encouragement by others to ignore the rules that is the touchy subject.
