Can a friend going to DW upgrade my ticket for me?

I have a partially used non-expiring MYW ticket. I would like to get a dollar credit for it towards an AP. I would like to do this before the trip, in order to make resort reservations using (if available) the AP discount. Also, I'd be able to order the DDE card in advance.

I don't believe there is anywhere outside of Orlando where I can do this. Am I wrong? Can I send it in by mail? If not, can a friend going to Orlando next week take my ticket with her and do it for me at a Guest Services location?

I would doubt she can upgrade to an AP for you, but I'm not sure so I'm just bumping you up.

Other guests can 'upgrade' some things, such as making an expiring pass into a non-expiring pass, but I don't think they can get an AP. Perhaps someone else knows for sure........................

The only places you can apply the remaining value of a partially used pass to the purchase of an AP or PAP are all on site at WDW. You cannot do it by mail, over the phone or anywhere except at WDW.

When you upgrade or get a dollar credit for the remaining value of a partially used ticket, you end up with the actual pass. The actual APs/PAPs have individual names on them. I do not know if someone besides you can do this. Sorry.
