Can a family member take my husband's place?

My husband was recently promoted and can no longer stay the whole week with us at Beach Club. Can my sister or friend show up and take his place? (i.e. park tix, meal plan, etc.)

Thanks!

Park tickets are non-transferrable, you have the finger scan. You might be able to pull off the dining plan. For EMH, it might be noticed that your sister is showing a key with a man's name.

Here's what I would suggest:

If you have a 7 day trip and your DH can only stay for 4, then buy 4 day tickets on your package. Your family member can come in and register for the room when they get there, and buy their own ticket. You would still have all of your DH's meal credits to use and your family member won't have to pay an adult fee if the hotel knows your husband checked out already.

The only time I've ever seen this be able to be done is when divorced parents "shared" a trip. One started and the other finished. The hotel allowed the tickets and meal plan to be transferred. That was a few years ago and during free dining as well. They took the Mom's ticket and issued one for the Dad with the remaining meal credits and ticket day.

I bet they wouldn't even do that now, though.

I forgot about the finger scan. Darn it! I guess by the time my sister pays for airfare and park tickets, she's not saving a whole lot. She would do better to book her own trip. Just a thought. Thanks for the advice!

If you get the new RFZiD cards can't you skip the finger scan? You will just touch your card to the Mickey Head.

Even if they could the tickets are not transferable. Just because you can get away with something doesn't make it right.

Nope. You'll do both.

You would be better off calling Disney. Disney can do whatever they want at their discretion. They might let you do it or they might not.
