Can A DVC Member List Kitchen Equipment for AKV 2 Bedroom Please?

We're renting April 20th and I heard that you have to log in on the DVC member site to get a list of the kitchen equipment. I'm getting down to the nitty gritty of putting together the shopping list for WEGOSHOP and I'm wondering if there's a blender? What kind of pans? We are nine people, should I bring extra place settings?

Actually, it's the blender the other adults are asking me about! I wonder why?

We are so excited! It's so great that we can do this.

First of all....enjoy your trip! Below is a list of what comes in a full kitchen (i.e. 1BRs and larger). I copied and pasted it so it's DVC's actual list. Hope it helps.

Kitchen:

Refrigerator
Electric stove/oven
Microwave oven
Sink with disposal
Coffee maker and starter pack
Toaster
Electric blender
Dishware, glasses, coffee cups and flatware service for eight (service for 12 in three-bedroom Vacation Homes)
Serving platter, vegetable bowls, salad serving bowl, sugar bowl, pitcher and cream server
Eight-piece cookware set (pots, pans and lids)
Casserole dishes, measuring cups and spoons, colander, cutting board and cookie sheet
Paring knife, cook's knife, tongs, serving spoon, serving fork, can opener, bottle opener and corkscrew
Teakettle
Dish towel
Sponge
Potholders

As long as as your 2BR is a 'savanna view' or 'standard view' you should have place settings, etc. for 9 people as these accomodate up to 9 guests.

Yes, we are ready to take this vacation. I rented this reservation last August, and I'm so glad I didn't wait as the week has been booked up for awhile.

Someday, I hope to be a DVC member. Maybe if I stopped renting points and skipped trips, I would have been one by now. But for now I'm content to rent points. Especially since the 2 bedroom villa was going for like 900 a night on the Disney Website Wow!

what size is the coffee pot? and does it take cone or flat bottom filters? I'm looking to bring coffee from home and may need to buy filters.

Is there a dishwasher? Or am I washing up by hand? will I need to buy dish soap?

The coffee pots are regular size (10 or 12 cup)...they use the flat, basket-type filters. The 1BR and 2BR kitchens have a dishwasher. You should get a pack of dishwasher detergent and a small bottle of liquid dish soap for handwashing the dishes.

And I know to buy toilet paper, do I need to buy a roll of paper towels too or are they provided?

If you run out of any cleaning products provided, you just call housekeeping and ask for more, and they will be brought up to you right away. This includes paper products etc.

thanks for clearing this up - I was under the mis-conception that I needed to buy/bring what we would need beyond the initial amount provided.

Mousekeeping provides you with "starter packs" of coffee (1 pot), powdered laundry detergent (1 load), dishwashing liquid and dishwasher detergent (1 cycle). You also have the small shampoo/conditioner, soaps, lotion in the bathroom. I think they get replenished on 'Trash & Towel Day' and when you have a full cleaning. The toilet paper & paper towels are provided and should get replenished as well when Mousekeeping is scheduled to come by.

We always bring our own extra laundry detergent, fabric softener, etc. when we go and our own brand of coffee. I also pack our shamp./cond., etc. because of preferences.
