DL is pretty good at being disabled friendly. I do wonder though..as I am looking at more trips by myself in a wheelchair, about cast members being able to help you by pushing your wheelchair if you really need them. ( I don't mean a chauffeur all day...see below)
Example: All lines are pretty durable except I have found space mountain and Indiana Jones to be quite fatiguing with long steep inclines. I usually have a family member to help me out on these, but haven't tried it solo, and frankly am a little afraid to try it in that I might get stuck! Does anyone know if a CM can help you in these lines? I have seen a CM wheel around guests before , but not sure if that was strictly on a medical emergency basis only. Any ideas?

Normally CMs are not allowed to push guests in a wheelchair. It is the reason I can no longer do Pirates of the Caribbean at WDW. Can't do the manual wheelchair and that is one that you must transfer to access.

The only thing that CMs may do for a person in a wheelchair is to stabilize the chair when boarding or unloading from an attraction ride vehicle. As well as store and return it while on the attraction.

I would think that is it is a ride that you really really wanted to do and you are alone that you might be able to find someone who is going on the ride to push you? I would not plan my trip counting on it, but people can be nice. My husband helped push a lady at POC because she was going turning around to leave when they told her that she would have to transfer off her ECV. We over heard her say she could not push herself so he offered, but maybe you could charm some one into helping by asking very nicely.

When I was new to the wheelchair, everyone told me not to turn down anyone offering help, especially with hills. I have not always done a good job with this, and I have rarely done a good job of asking for help when i could use it (probably just ego).

If you are able to ask, I am sure you would be able to find plenty of people willing to help in queue's and wherever you may need help.
