Can a child's MagicBand be used to "pay" for a meal on the dining plan?

Do they need to have charging privileges? The kids are excited to be able to "pay" for dinner for the family!

It is my understanding that yes since the MB is linked as the room key and ticket media it will also be linked to the Dining Plan.

yes they can use their band to "pay" for meals. If they don't have charging abilities for tips then you will need to use your band or another form of payment. Just make sure to fill out the slip and let the server know prior to having the child scan their band

Yes they can my DS paid for everything this past trip. I just enabled his band for charging and assigned a pin he could remember
