Does the height requirement apply to infants in a sling? We are going in one week and the thought occurred to me today, "I wonder if my wife is carrying our daughter in a sling, can my wife (and daughter) ride Soarin'?" Or for that matter any other ride with the height requirements?

No. Infants count as people and must meet ridership criteria such as height in order to experience height restricted attractions. Lap sitting is not permitted in most height restricted attractions as the seats and restraints are not built to carry the size and shape of more than one person. Sorry.

Oh, no no no! The sling would not be ok! This is a ride where the make you take your shoes/flip flops off as well as your hat! The they raise you up in air and swing you around. Plus the seatbelt is a little wacky.
Do a baby swap, not a sling at all! Much safer!

infants cannot ride.
you must meet the 40 inch height requirement and sit in your own seat on soarin in order to ride.

any ride that has a height requirement means you must be that tall to ride.

The height requirement applies to everybody regardless of age so a person who doesn't make the height requirement would not be allowed on Soarin or any ride with a minimum height requirement.
