Our family, myself DH and 2 DD will be in the MK in April, I will be 6 months pregnant at the time and will be unable to ride the coasters . The dd's are 4 and 6 , the 6 yr old loved these coaster in March 2001. Just wondering if DH can take them both at the same time on these rides or if he will need to take them one at a time. Just wondering so I can set up a touring plan.

I have seen small children with adults seated three across at BTMR.

I am not so sure about Splash though since those seats seem more formed for two per row; although I am not entirely sure about that.

I'm a big gal, and my husband, DS and I fit together on BTMRR.

I agree with the previous poster on Splash. The seats are configured for 2, although 2 small children might fit with an adult.

We actually had a problem with this on our December trip. SM was not at all busy and we had walked on it twice. There was me and dh and three teens (two boys 12 & 16 and a girl 14 who weigh over 300 pounds together.)
The CM made the three teens get in one seat. I told him we felt that was not right and he said they could get out of line then. They got in and let me tell you, they were NOT comfortable. THe girl who sat in the middle ended up with a bruise on her thigh. After we spoke to a "manager" who said that sometimes this happens. They offered to let us go ahead of the line and ride again, but we were so upset and thought that wasn't fair to the rest of the people.

DH and I fit comfortable and can't imagine squeezing another person with us. In the case of little ones, maybe.
I still can't believe that cast member and I hope he was talked to.

Your dh should be fine with both children, if not do a kid swap so the kids don't have to wait in line twice. I rode both BTMR and SPlM with my dd's 5 & 7 and we fit fine.

Oh my - I cannot imagine three teens in a seat together at Splash Mountain - I wouldn't have been too happy about that either!

And I can't believe they didn't honor your request to be seated separately in that case!

My husband rode with our then 4 1/2 and 6 year old on splash mountain and thunder mountain without a problem. Keep in mind the restraint bar on BTMR only goes down as far as the biggest person he kept a good grip on my 4 1/2 yr old DD becasue he was afraid she would slide out there was so much space.

My husband rode Splash Mountain with our then 5 and 8 yr old daughters, three across the seat, with hubby in the middle. The only problem they had was that one kid got soaked, and the other was shielded by Daddy and didn't get wet at all. The wet one complained of getting wet, and the dry one complained about not getting wet
