Can 2 people sit at one table?

Ha, ha -- yes, Disney seems to know quite a bit on each of us. We've always been pleased with our DCL table mates - but our last trip (Dream, Feb 2016) blew our minds. Our entire table, four couples, had sooooooo much in common. We were each a bit shaken with the creepy idea that Disney knew us far too well. Hmmmm ...
They do know you far too well, but you didn't really think Magic Bands were there just to make things easier on you, did you? Really, they collect data beyond anything you can believe, I am not sure who would have the bigger database them or Google and yes, they really do have that much information. Of course they may also share date with Google and get data from them.

In this example it demonstrates how the data that is gathered can be used in a way that is positive, but the problem is for all of the good it can do, there is bad too.

Can 2 people sit at one table?

NO ..... you must sit at separate tables ... this is DISNEY ...... they do NOT condone such actions. behave yourselves ..... :sail:
LOL, so at least I wasn't the only one that thought that when first reading the title of the post.

Without asking one time we got a table of 2 for just DH and I. We were doing a b2b and had a wonderful group for table mates the 1st cruise. We mentioned to the head server that we would like to have the same serving team on the 2nd cruise if it wouldn't be too much trouble. As we talked over the earlier nights we mentioned that we didn't spend a lot of time together because of job duties that had us in different states for time being. We believe the head server put that together with our request for the same serving team to arrange our private table. Of course the server and assistant server teases us that we had been bad and were at the time out table. :rolleyes1 They were great!

We request a table to ourselves during our b2b in feb but was put with similar age couples and this was on both cruises. Both cruises the other couples were similar in age and dinners went very well. We would not hesitate to share a table again. Our cruise this month we are with family, but booked on another b2b in feb and did not ask for a table of two, so look forward to meeting others.

I'm a solo cruiser and on my second Disney cruise I had a bad experience with my tablemates and by the next dinner seating I already had my own table. Since that bad experience I have always requested my own table and received it each and every time. I was even given one of the booths in Enchanted Garden MDR during my last cruise on the Disney Dream.

If you'd really like to dine alone as a couple, I also suggest calling and noting the request on your reservation.

For our honeymoon cruise, we were seated with 3 or 4 other honeymooning couples - which was totally fine. On our second cruise, we were seated with two families of 3. Each family had a tween daughter. I have no idea how we were seated with these families....
