Camps for Troubled Teens?

I have a nephew who is highly intelligent but has major behavior problems.

I would love to find a summer camp in Texas that I could offer to take him to--either a day program or a residential program where I could visit. He is my God son, and his mom has her hands full with three more children, one of whom has special needs.

If anyone has any ideas, can you share them?

CAll you local mental health facility and inquire. Some of them actually offer intensive day "camp" programs, maybe he could attend one of them? Often health insurance will pay for it if he's been diagnosed with a psycological disorder.

I think I remember seeing some camps for troubled teens listed on the back pages of Southern Living magazine. Maybe pick up an issue and take a look.
