Camping question

Just booked a trip to the fort this august and I wanted to try to get the loop by the campfire but I was told that that loop was just for RVs. Is that true??...because I remember tent camping there with my family in 1998, but maybe things changed. Thanks for the help.

Tent campers can stay in any loop, it is the RVs that can not stay in 2 of the loops (1500 and 2000). If you are looking for the loop right next to the campfire that would be 1400 and you would need to reserve a preferred site.

Thanks for the answer! I figured that tents were still allowed there. My family once had that great spot right by the comfort station and where you could watch the movie from the side of the tent. Looks like I'll have to call back. Thanks again!
