Has anyone ever camped at Disney during the summer? In a tent? How do you manage the heat and the rain storms? Does the campground offer rentals (tents or RVs?)

Many, many years ago we pulled our pop-up down to Florida. We didn't have ac on our unit. What a mistake! It's swampy-hot, everything is damp and stays that way! If you're tenting/pop-up invest in some sort of ac.

Lots and lots camp in tents. Some just pack lots of fans, some have portable AC units.

As far as rain a lot of campers put their ease ups over their tents just like you would the pic nic table. Some people put tarps over the tents. These help with keeping rain water out of their belongings.

As far as tent rentals go, the Fort does rent tents. They are suitable for about 6 from what I could tell. Here is the only picture that I have to show what they look like. No interior pics but they also rent cots to sleep on if you don't have an air mattress.

Our popup with an AC unit and PUGS does great at the Fort in the summer (July and August). In fact, we are often chilly. I only turn on the AC at night when we are in the camper.
