Camping in December

Thinking about a camping trip on December. So what are facts I should follow? I mean some tips.
During my first camping in summer, I felt so hot in tent as when I didn't know about tent cooling without electricity.
That's why I want to about any unwanted issues.

What state/area do you want to camp in?

Ohio that time of year is chilly.

South Florida can be really nice.
