Camping in April?

We just got a little popup and I was "mentioning" to my DH about how affordable a campsite is at FW. I want to maybe convince him to give it a try the last week in April. (We have a February trip planned and he always is at his weakest in planning an upcoming trip while we are there! LOL ) We've been in that time frame before but we stayed in a room. How would it be then? Can we have our popup and a small tent too?

April average high temperature is 88, average low is 60 with and average of 2.42 inches of rain. It should be a very nice time to go as long as you are not there during "spring break" as it can get busy then.

Yes, you are allowed a small tent in addition to your camping unit.

That is the time of year we camp. We have a dome tent. Just be sure to take jackets and electric blankets just in case it gets cold. Our first two nights of Spring Break 2003 were very cold!
