We will be camping in a pop up in Dec. I have a dog question. We called Fort Wilderness and asked if we requested a dog loop can we have our **** zu in our pop up. I was told yes. I also was told that we can leave him in there while we do the parks ect...
However, upon speaking to my sister who was just in Disney she said that dogs are not allowed in pop up's.
This time I called Disney Travel to find out once and for all the final answer and I was told I'm not sure... UGH! Does anyone have a final answer for me?

Nope, no final answer her but I have always been under the impression that you can't leave a pet at your campsite (tent, pop-up, Rv) when you are not there.

We camp extensively in our travel trailer with our two shihpoo's and a beagle and have never camped in any campground that allowed them to be left in the camper when we're not there. I doubt that Ft Wilderness would be any different.

The pup can go with you in the pop-up. However anytime you're away from the site the pup has to be put in the Fort kennel.

You can leave them alone if you have a hard sided RV, only inside of course.

I assume the popup would have to be in a pet loop, not 1500/2000?

Yes in a pet loop. Do you suggest one that is close to everything? I do not want my dog to stay in the pop up when we are not there. So I am assuming I would Kennel them for the day? We have never camped at Disney, always stayed in the resorts so this is all new to us.

Hmmmmm, I've never seen a pop up dog before!

I have two shihpoos. They pop up all the time. Last night one of them popped up and grabbed my son's chicken right out of his hand.
