Thsi is for anyone who has used the campground w/a RV....how was it? How was WDW transportation? Is it crowded? We will be there over Spring Break and wonder what the crowds will be like.
Thanks:)

I usually tent camp at Ft Wilderness and I can tell you few campgrounds are as good as this one. Between the Campfire/Movie program, boat rentals, fishing, swimming pools and field sports you'll find there may days you'll want to "rest" at the campgrounds and not do the parks. Transportation is by bus to the TTC and transfer there to all points Disney except for the MK where you can also use a launch. Transportation is somewhat slower then the Hotel Resort busses because of the TTC transfer. If you want to resort hop or make your own schedule traveling around WDW you'll find it more convienient to use your own car since a resort hop means another bus transfer at Downtown Disney or an OPERATING themepark if you don't have a car.

I love FW. The transportation could be improved, but everything else makes up for it, especially the price.

You can get a bunch of good tips on the Camping board.
