We will be heading down to WDW from Chicago in March. Planning on staying in Georgia overnight then heading out early that next morning. Does anyone have any recommendations of campgrounds to stay at off of I-75? Would prefer something not off the beaten path, and family based. Also pulling a 27' travel trailer.

Thanks

There is always a Wal-Mart. Not my favorite stop but when you only need a few hours it works.

Search KOA, I know there is one in Forsyth, GA and I think there is at least one other. I have never stayed at any of them, but if is just for one night:confused3

\Hi have u thought of staying at the rest stop that just before Atlanta Georgia. We drive down to florida all the time taking the 1-75 and we stay the night there and is always security there well lite and very clean, and its just of the high way . You will see lots of other people there as well doing the same thingn and its free. Hope you have a great trip to the World

I have stayed at the KOA at Forsyth, GA for an overnighter. Easy in, easy out. Good pullthroughs, reasonable price, and it's South of Atlanta.

We use Fair Harbor RV park in Perry (MM135 just south of Macon) its about 340 miles from there to Fort Wilderness. Nice easy pull throughs with cable, bravel sites and some paved roads. The good pull throughs are just as you enter and easy to get in and out of, its less than 1/2 mile from I-75 and very little noise plus there is a cracker barrel on the other side of 75.
