Campground near Washington, DC?

I like to plan ahead for next summer LOL

Within 30 minutes or so. If you have any recommendation we would so appreciate it

What the KOA considers their "Washington DC" Campground is actually about 30 minutes away in Anne Arundel County. We live about 2 minutes away from it but have actually spent a weekend there because the kids REALLY wanted to go camping. It's a pretty basic campground...has an outdoor pool but no real amenities or activities going on.

I think it's called Cherry Hill Campground. The city bus makes a stop right at the campground. The bus will take you to the metro station near College Park Md. The campground has a nice pool. Don't know about other amenities -
we usually took the bus to the metro and then spent most of our time in the city.
