Do you have to be an onsite guest to go to the campfire and movie at FW? This is one of those things I always had good intentions to do and never made it.

There's been some heated debate on this topic in the past, but I can tell you that when we did the campfire/movie this past February - there was no formal "entrance" where they were asking for resort ID's, or anything like that - everyone just made their way to the area and had a seat...

I did the campfire once a long time ago but would like to try to go again this August. How far a walk is it from WL or do you have to take a bus? What time is it held in the summer?

When we arrived at FW we told the gate keeper that we were going to the Campfire, they never asked us if we were staying there...they told us where to park, and we hopped on the bus to get us there. No one asked us when we arrived if we were guests. It was a really fun night!

From WL we took the boat to FW (but you COULD walk) and then we had to take a bus to the campsite. It didn't take long at all though. It was DEFINITELY fun! The kids loved the S'mores pack and roasting their marshmellows.
