campfire pictures

I am looking for pictures of Chip and Dale's campfire/movie. How is the character interaction? Is it an organized meet and greet? when will the October movie schedule be up?

I don't have any pictures for you as I forgot the darn camera last time we went! They do the sing along then Chip and Dale come out and do a few songs too. The meet and greet is done like this: you stay in your seat and they come to you. Chip does one side of the "theater" and Dale does the other. This is really great since it prevents the characters from being mobbed and each child gets to see the character...not to mention no lines!!

Does any one remember Sundee??? She used to do it before equity (entertainment) stepped in and took over. She wasn't really happy about the take over either, since everything at the Fort used to be put on solely by the cast at the Fort. Then the equity union decided to stick their big fat nose in where it didn't belong.
She was also on the dream squad in 2008, mostly at Animal Kingdom. I haven't run into her in ages. I did hear she was working at the Grand with a kids program there, but I don't know if that took off or not.

Halloween night is the only night it's done differently.

That's when they create a line down the center, and Chip and Dale pass out little goody bags. Pictures are quick, and they're dressed up in a Halloween costume. Ones a vampire and the other's a pirate or something. Very very cute looking, but Chip and Dale are just adorable to begin with.

Is this easy to get to if your not staying at fort? Where is it located in relationship to Trails End?

I never got to meet Ms. Sundee at the fort, but did come across her in the AK back in '07 or '08. I was with my parents walking around the Tree of Life trying to pick out the animals in the carvings. Sundee saw us and basically gave us our own private tour of the Tree of Life walk pointing out the various animals. It really made for one of those special Disney vaction moments that you can never plan for!

Is this easy to get to if your not staying at fort? Where is it located in relationship to Trails End?

Trail's End is at the Marina end of FW, while the campfire is pretty much at the center of FW. It's still easy to get to ... you just hop an internal bus near Trail's End / Pioneer Hall that has a stop right near the campfire.

If you take a bus or drive to FW instead of boat, the main bus top is at the end opposite the marina. But, it's the same idea ... just pick up an internal bus that takes you to the campfire
