Campfire marshmallows and ???'s!

When you take the kiddos to the campfire and movie, can you bring your own marshmallows, drinks and popcorn? What do you use to roast the marshmallows with - do we need to look for tree branches or do you bring something from your camper? If we bring blankets, can we sit anywhere or are there "assigned seats"? We're taking our grandchildren and it's been many many years since we did this with our own children. If you stay for the movie - do you get to see the fireworks too? Thank you ALL for all the great info that I'm gathering from this site....I'm new at using the computer too - so I had just got the format figured out...now I'm trying to figure the new one out!! I love it - but I SURE WISH I WAS SMARTER at this!!!!!

Hi! When you go to the Campfire, you can take all your own supplies or you can buy them there. We always take a cooler with drinks and snacks and s'mores supplies too. We bought the metal roasting thingies from the camping section at WalMart and we have used them for years. I think they still have them for a couple of dollars for a set of four. You can sit on blankets or they have nice wooden benches with backs and several sections of bleachers. The Electrical Water Pagent is on the beach at 9:45 p.m., and we have usually stayed for the fireworks immediately after--but that depends upon the time of the fireworks at MK. You can ask any of the bus drivers--they are a great source of info!

sometimes we bring supplies and sometimes we dont. The chuckwagon has almost anything you need including beverages. If you dont want to lug things a long way and you want to save a little $ we stop at the meadows trading post and buy what we need there as we are walking to the theater.
