How does it work? I've heard about it, and it sounds really fun!

What kind of Disney movies do they play? What else goes on there and is available during the campfire? What songs do they sing?

It's just me and my DBF, and it sounds like it's more for kids - but I'm a kid at heart, and it just seems cute... something possibly worth checking out.

Thanks! :goodvibes

The campfire and sing-along is alot of fun! Went in Feb. for the first time and my DD7 loved it. Chip and Dale walk around the crowd during the sing-a-long, and the fire pit is set off in the corner. The snack shack sells smores kits (can't remember how much$) and after the movie plays. I believe the schedule is posted on the camping board here on the dis at the beginning of each month! Hope you have a great time!!!

My kids really love the campfire. There is a sing-along before the movie. There is a lady that leads it up on stage. I can't remember her name. She is very funny and the kids seem to love her. The snack bar has s'mores kits, marshallows, (there is a fire to roast them in), popcorn and drinks. There might also be hotdogs to roast. I've seen people roasting them. I just not sure if they got them there or brought them from their campsite. There are benches and bleachers to sit on. I would bring a blanket or towel for comfort. I would get there early, because the seats fill up fast. Some people bring blankets and sit on the ground. Sometimes we go just for the sing-along and campfire. You should try it at least once. :)

My youngest DD has wanted to do this for ages. We went to Disney at Christmas & I told her that she could pick something special to do as she missed having a birthday party this year as her birthday was the week of Hurricane Katrina. She picked this instead of the Princess Tea at the GF. There is a cool lady that leads the sing a long which includes some of the Mickey Mouse Club songs. Chip & Dale visit. A Disney movie follows. We saw Belle's Christmas. They sell S'mores kits, sticks, & hot dogs there or you can bring your own. It is one of the cheapest activities at WDW & also a lot of fun.

Ms Sundee leads the sing along Tuesday through Saturday and Ms Julie is on Sunday and Monday.

The "chuckwagon" has smores kits that are complete as well as popcorn, nachos, Cliffs famous pizza :teeth: , candy, pop, and beer.

The folks roasting hotdogs probably brought them with them.

A Disney movie (check the thread at the top of this forum for dates) follows the movie. Something soft to sit on is always a good idea if you stay for the entire movie.

Be sure to bring your camera for pics with Chip and Dale. (dont get them mixed up)

be sure and tell all the CM at the campfire that we all said "howdy"
