I was just reading the AllEars.net newsletter for 6/12 and a reader tip (AllEars Hears), a reader emailed that there was a campfire and movie at the Boardwalk, around Crescent Lake.

Is this for real? Is it new? I know about the Chip & Dale Campfire at Fort Wilderness, but if the Boardwalk is hosting one too, it's news to me. We have ADRs for the Cape May Clam Bake at 7pm, perhaps, if this is indeed an event at the Boardwalk, we can partake in the festivities.

I just got done reading my "Ears the news" too and saw that. I was there on that weekend (2-4) staying at Beach Club....we had pizza on the boardwalk and saw it over by the pirate ship. I didn't see a bon fire, but there was a movie and lots of people sitting on the beach in chairs watching...I think it was Lion King, but we were pretty far away to tell. It looked pretty neat though.

Wow, that's cool. I hope it's true. It might make having to stay there worth it.

Yep, on June 2 they played Lilo and Stitch on the beach on a big screen right behind the Pirate ship slide.

Not sure if this is every weekend or not. We didn't watch it. The kids love the magicians at the BW and would rather do that.

Can't wait to see if they keep doing this. We've always thought about going over to Ft. Wilderness for the campfire and the moview and never quite made it. It would be so convenient since we are staying at YC. Was it just one night or two? Thanks for any information.
