Campfire and Trails End

Hello,
I was just wondering if this would be "doable"... I wanted to do the Campfire with Chip and Dale at FW. I think it starts at 7:00. Then, head over to Trails End for a late dinner afterwards. I'll be there the first week in Nov. Do you think this is possible? Thanks for the advice.

My information from last summer says Trail's End serves dinner until 9:30PM Sunday -Thursday, and 10 PM Friday and Saturday. It does not say what time the campfire starts. There is a movie after it gets dark, too. Someone usually posts the movie schedule for the month on the camping board. There are some snacks available to purchase at the campfire. You may want to post this on the camping board. 7 o'clock sounds a little early for the campfire, but it may vary with the season. We've only been there in the summer, so that may be why it started later when we were there.

After the time change in October the campfire starts at 7 p.m. You could easily do the sing-along and meet C&D and then eat at the Trail's End. You just wouldn't be able to do the movie that follows, although there is usually a cartoon short and you could do that.

I think we could get take-out from Trails End. Could we eat while watching the movie? Is there enough room to eat or would that be rude? Thanks for your help, campingcorgi

The 7 p.m. start time is good from the end of October till the time change in April. The rest of the year it begins at 8.

Sure, take food. There's plenty of room and lots of people will be eating hot dogs, pizza, smores, etc. I'd try to get there early enough to get a bench instead of the bleachers for more room. Or if you are staying at FW you could take your lawn chairs or spread out on a blanket. Life is casual at Fort Wilderness!!
