Camp Rock

Last night, I watched Disney's Camp Rock movie. I had been looking forward to this movie ever since I saw a preview for it (that must have been months ago). I was so excited all yesterday for the movie. So I thought the movie was....


AMAZING!!

It was 100 times better than High School Musical 1 &2. The songs were more catchier and I must say that both Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas made excellent main characters. They both have amazing voices and I love them both.

Alot of people didn't like this movie because of the Jonas Brothers, but thats a WAY different story.

It's definatly worth a watch.

I thought it was pretty good. We let DD stay up to watch it. I liked the songs, and the story line wasn't quite what I expected from the previews.

I still like HSM better, but I won't cringe when DD puts it on again & I will likely wind up with the soundtrack on the MP3 player...

We plan on watching it tonight. Both of my DDs are big Jonas Brothers fans.
DD16 is worried that they hyped it up too much and it won't be that good. I'll post again after we watch

We watched it....my 2DS were very excited for it.

I like HSM 1 and 2 better. But it was enjoyable. I do want to get the soundtrack for DS they liked the music (ok that means I did too)

I like the Jonas Bros. I thought they were cute in it.

Yep! I have seen it (bits and pieces) 2 times now this weekend. My tween liked it a lot because of the Jonas Bros. She loves them. She said she still likes HSM better though but my 8 yr old DD said she likes Camp Rock better.

I liked it, the parts I saw of it.

I love watching all the Disney shows with my kids. It is a nice mommy daughter time activity. I have to savor every second I can get with my tween. she is starting to show her age--if you know what I mean.

Ok we watched it last night.

DD10 liked it alot.
DD16 thought there should have been more Jonas BROTHERS in it - think Nick!

I enjoyed it - with the exception of all the stupid commercials!! Oh my goodness it was frustrating.

DDs already have the soundtrack and are planning on purchasing the DVD.

They are also hoping for Camp Rock merchandise to be available in the Parks when we go.

So far DD5 has watched it twice and she really likes it.

I prefer HSM 1 and 2 also, but enjoyed CR.

There is one part in Camp Rock that makes me cry. Any movie that can make me cry is good. Oh, and my mother even said that she liked it!!!

I Didn't really like it

It was extremely predictable

I didn't think thee acting was bad and the songs were OK

But overall it was not on my list of favorites and I would not reccomend it

It was fair. Some songs were good and some were terrible. I thought it was interesting that not all the Jonas Brothers were main characters. I expected the movie to be about all three of them, not just one. Even my 8 yr old DD thought it was just okay--and we have tickets to see the Jonas Brothers this summer. We dvr'd the movie but I doubt we will watch it again. HSM blows this one away.

My Fiance and watched it on Saturday in HD while we were packing to move. It was good, we had watched HSM2 last year while on vacation and thought it was awful. I enjoyed Camp Rock though, I was surprised how little the other 2 jonas brothers were in it. Overall good I am sure they are already ramping up production on Camp Rock 2

I thought it was ok - but not as good as HSM (1 and 2). I think the soundtrack was great - went to the Disney Store Saturday and they were playing it on a loop and it really has some good songs. DD5 could not sit still long enough to watch it Friday, but managed to see it on Saturday. DD14 LOVED it and watched it all three nights! Yes, I too see us buying the DVD and the soundtrack.
