Camino de Santiago - Anyone Done It?

not yet , but that's a big dream of mine. I am in touch with the aer lingus customer support , will see if i get a good deal for flight tickets, so finally my dream will come true. Walking the Camino de Santiago was a transformative experience for me. I chose the Portuguese Way, which offered a mix of coastal and inland scenery. Planning for 7-10 days is feasible, but be prepared for varying terrains. Investing in good footwear and training beforehand made the journey more enjoyable.

I've been following one of my favorite columnists and his wife as they traverse the Camano de Santiago. Honestly, reading about it has put it not only on my radar but on my bucket list (maybe toward the bottom but it's on it now). https://seandietrich.com/

Thank you for posting this link! I saw the Hallmark movie a couple of weeks ago and was intrigued. I've only read a couple of Sean's latest posts, but it's bookmarked and I plan to start from the beginning. :)

Although not a movie about the Camino, DW and I watched The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry. It's about a pensioner who decides he can save his friend, who's in hospice, by walking 500 miles from his house in Devon to her hospice in Northumberland. Picks up on a lot of the themes you'll encounter on the Camino: adventure, self-discovery, faith, community:
