Camera Help Please

We went to the pumpkin patch today, so of course I grabbed the camera. Tried to turn it on...no luck. Changed batteries three times....still didn't come on.

So we're guessing it's dead. We had a Kodak Easy Share. The only thing we did NOT like was the delay when you push the shutter and when the picture is actually taken.

We're just glad we found out now...and not when we're in Disney! We've got a little bit of time. We're looking for something decent in the $100ish range. Point and shoot is fine for us.

For point & shoot this can't be beat. Yes, it is another Kodak Eashshare product. But this one is waterproof. You can use it in the pools to take photos of your kids going down the slides. Kokak Easyshare C123

We have a Sony Cyber shot 7.5mp camera. And a Sony camcorder that use the same type of memory stick. Walmart.com has a great special just say it today and looked it back up for you. It's a Sony cyber-shot DSC-W530 14 mp. For $125.00. We love are camera and its easy enough to use. It has a "easy" function that makes it point and shot. The only thing is that we have a 4gig memory stick and when it gets over 150 pictures on it it starts to slow down. We just bought an extra memory stick 8 mp.(gets about 300pictures on it before it starts to slow down) problem solved. Also if you are just taking snap shots turn down the resolution. I was told anything past 5mp for a snap shot is a waist of memory. We also use are iPhone's alot and if it gets full while on a trip I email them to myself, check my email to make sure I have them. then delete them from my phone and then I'm ready for more pictures. Good luck and stick with a name brand camera and buy it from Wal-mart. because if it breaks, when you first get it Wal-mart will usually take it back.
