yeah I'm pretty sure it's unlimited. It's one of the best things Disney has ever come up with

One other thing to keep in mind that I found out last time we were there; I was talking to one of the PPP (Photopass Photographers) because I was thinking of becoming a cast member, and he told me that they are part of the "Service" department, and not "Sales". So they aren't going to offer to take your picture, you have to USUALLY ask. But here's what's great: if you ask for them to take your picture with YOUR camera, they have to!! Since they're service & not sales, they aren't there to sell pictures/cds. They're there to take your picture. So if you don't want to splurge for the photos but they are in a great spot, hand over your camera to them!! :thumbsup2 :cool1:

How would I sign up for the Photopass service before my Jan 09 trip? The link I found on a search was from Apr (not sure if the prices are still valid). Does anyone have a newer link to share?

Thanks,
Arlene

it's a cute way of putting it. the definitive guide to photopass sort of touches upon it, but photopass used to be more aggressive about approaching guests (never as bad as other parks are though i don't think), but the issue became are guests going to be more upset when they're badgered to death? or if they have to initiate the transaction. they elected to make it more passive.

and as it is, no CM can refuse to use your camera, officially (sometimes they'll pass it off on someone else, but a CM will do it). in fact, cast members are expected to proactively offer. some do that more than others of course.

We prepaid on our trip last month and ended up with around 360 on a single CD.

I think they're working on that. As of right now, Test Track is the only one that I know of that does this. When we went in October, we bought the Photopass CD once we got home and it included our picture from TT. It was really nice to have!

I have not been to WDW in a few years, but am leaving in a week for a surprise trip with my DH and 3 kids. We bought the photopass CD last time. Does anyone know how much it costs to purchase now? Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Go to mousavers dot com and type photo pass discount into the search bar. Then click on the attached link. You can prebuy the CD before you go. You will get it for $99.95 instead of $124.95

Make sure you upload your photopass numbers before 30 days after your return. Then make sure you order your CD before 30 more days pass. You can add all the borders and I do mean ALL the borders to every photo and save each one giving you multiple options. You can turn 100 photos into 500 if you add every border and the proce is still the same.

Also, we just got back and got a great deal, if we paid the $124.95, they threw in a free photo book. The photo book itself was $69.95.

I got hosed!!! :lmao: :scared1: :headache: :guilty: We just got back at the end of October and paid the $124.95 and got the photopass CD. PERIOD. Oh well!! I guess there's always going to be new deals coming out and those of us that happen to fall in between them!

Sorry, I don't know how I did it. They sent me an email because I signed up for Photopass before we left and didn't pay for the CD, when we got home I uploaded some of my pictures and they sent me an email with this offer. Also got a offer for 20% off any purchase of $50 or more.

One of my photo "projects" on our WDW trip last month was to photograph the Photopass photographers. I thought it might be fun to start a PPPPOTD thread in honor of these CM's who help so many WDW guests bring back keepsake photos of their families.

So, to get things rolling, here is the first one, from AK:

Okay, who'll be next?

Great idea Ed!! Sorry I don't have any to add though. Maybe on our next trip!! Whenever that will be.

Not as good as any of the others, (I wasn't intentionally photographing the Photo Pass Photographer) but I'll play seeing as my picture of an "empty" main street included this guy:headache:
