Camelot Inn vs HoJo's

Hi - I just wanted some expert opinions from anybody that has stayed at either/both of these hotels. We have a reservation for Feb 26 - March 6 at the Camelot, thru DU. I am having second thoughts because HoJo's pool area looks much nicer in photos. Any thoughts?

I've never stayed at the Camelot so I can't give you an opinion there. As for Hojo, for the money we were very pleased. It was your basic hotel room with a small fridge, free parking, free internet access, a coffee pot and various other amenities. The walk was reasonable with our 4 & 6 year old (the 4 year old was in a stroller). The kicker for us though was the pool. Our kids absolutely loved the pool. We never had an argument about going back to the hotel room to rest/nap because the kids wanted to swim so bad.

So while we looked at some of the other hotels in envy because they were closer, I suspect we'll continue to opt for Hojos due to the pool.

(Plus if I remember right Camelot might be one of the places that has those creepy people out front trying to sell you something. That would be a huge turn off for me.)

We just recently stayed at the HoJo. The Castaway Cove water play area is a big plus. The walk is not a big deal, especially with a stroller.

There are 6 buildings. Two are approx. 7 stories. The other 4 are 2 stories, with stairs ONLY. We had to pick up and carry our stroller up/down the stairs. They should have disclosed this at check-in, and given us an option.
